Abandoned Cart

A started but uncompleted checkout.

An abandoned cart is an order a shopper began — adding items or starting checkout — but never completed. Most stores abandon the majority of carts, so recovering even a fraction is meaningful revenue. The standard fix is an automated abandoned-cart flow: a short sequence of reminder emails (and often SMS or WhatsApp) that brings shoppers back. Reducing checkout friction and surprise costs prevents abandonment in the first place.
