Shopify & e-commerce · Egypt
We are based in Cairo. Egyptian e-commerce is our home market — the payment rails, the courier network, the cash-on-delivery reality, and the Arabic-first storefront.

THE MARKET
Most Shopify guidance is written for a market where everyone pays by card, addresses have postcodes, and returns are rare. Egypt does not work like that. A store that sells here needs cash on delivery treated as a first-class payment method, instalments and BNPL surfaced at the right moment, a checkout that survives an address written as a landmark, and a storefront that reads naturally in Arabic. We build for those conditions because we work in them every day.

COD is not a checkbox. We set up the order tagging, courier hand-off and reconciliation reporting so finance can actually close the month.
Proper right-to-left layouts, Arabic typography that does not break, and content structured so both languages rank — not a translation plugin bolted on top.
Bosta, Mylerz and Fincart connected to fulfilment so tracking, status and returns flow back into Shopify instead of living in a spreadsheet.
The market-specific work that separates a store built for Egypt from a generic Shopify theme.
Cards, mobile wallets and Fawry reference codes through Paymob, Kashier or PayTabs; Apple Pay via the gateway; bank card instalments for CIB, NBE, Banque Misr, QNB and Banque du Caire cardholders; and BNPL from valU, Sympl, Souhoola, Halan, Forsa and Aman. Which of these you enable changes your checkout conversion more than almost any design decision.
COD remains a mainstream expectation rather than a fringe option. It shapes fraud screening, order confirmation (usually a WhatsApp or phone step before dispatch), courier selection, and the cash reconciliation loop between courier remittance and your Shopify payouts.
Bosta, Mylerz and Fincart for domestic delivery. Egyptian addresses are frequently landmark-based rather than postcoded, so the checkout address block and the courier payload both need adapting — a strict postcode field costs you orders.
Arabic is the primary shopping language for much of the market. That means a genuine RTL build: mirrored layout, Arabic web fonts that render numerals and diacritics correctly, and hreflang-separated EN and AR URLs so both versions can rank.
Pricing in EGP against imported cost bases makes margin management an ongoing operational job, not a launch task. We build the merchandising and price-update workflows to match, rather than hard-coding prices into theme files.

We are genuinely based in Cairo — Nasr City — and that is our only office. The address and phone number on this page are the same ones on our Google Business Profile. You are welcome to visit.
Yes, and it is one of the most common things we are asked for. Our Paymob setup guide walks through the Paymob setup step by step, and the Egypt & Saudi payment methods guide covers every method available to Egyptian and Saudi merchants, including which ones need a separate merchant agreement.
Yes. A bilingual build is a proper RTL implementation with separate, indexable URLs per language — not a browser-side translation widget. Our Arabic RTL guide explains what changes in the theme, and why a machine-translated Arabic store tends to underperform a properly built one.
We publish our real ranges rather than quoting on request — see what a Shopify store costs for the full breakdown, or run the Project Cost Estimator for a figure based on your own scope. Pricing does not change by country; scope does.
